HEADLINE:

Business writers wanted to turn an audio interview into a short eBook

BODY COPY:

We are looking for writers who are a bit different. The Not-So-Freaky University is a membership site for business owners. It made its name by being a great business teaching tool, without the boring bits.

We need writers who are able to listen to audio tutorials (MP3 files) and use that information to create draft content for a short eBook.

The successful candidate will listen to the audio file and draft a word document, that we call a ‘Cheat Sheet’ (i.e. An instructional summary of the audio interview, like a short eBook, approx. 1,800 words).

You will be provided with an MP3 or MP4 audio file.

You will also be provided with a transcript. (THIS IS OPTIONAL)

The purpose of the Cheat Sheet is to create a ‘lead magnet’ or gift – something that a prospective customer can download in return for their email. A graphic designer will then transform your word document into something attractive, of high-perceived value to my audience. All we require from you is a word document (i.e. A shortened version of the audio lesson).

YOUR JOB:

Create a compelling word document to reflect the content of the audio file (Result: Cheat Sheet, approx 1,800 words.)

PERSONALITY TEST:

We’re looking for journalists and business writers who can write well but also match the personality of our brand. That’s why, we’d like you to answer the following three questions, however you see fit.

As in all things entrepreneurial, there are no right answers, only interesting ones.

Please keep your answers to a few sentences:
1. Who is your favourite doctor? Why?
2. Who is your favourite superhero? Why?
3. What are your thoughts on Tesla?

REAL WORLD TEST:

If you are successful in being selected from your responses to our questions above, you will be asked to transform an audio interview into a working document — a summary of the key points, which we call a Cheat Sheet.

You will be allocated four hours to do this at your going rate to complete this task.

Successful writers will be welcomed into our team and form part of our regular contributors. You will be given a set number of projects to complete per month.

A sample of a complete and designed cheat sheet is attached.
A sample of an audio file is also attached.

THE BUDGET:
